To continue my COBRA insurance after being laid off would have cost $270 a month, I could not afford that. But because of the stimulus package I was able to continue my insurance for $96 a month. So while I don’t like a lot of what Obama is doing, he is the 1st President in my life time that has done anything to directly benefit me, and that was his stimulus package. Now the rest of what he is doing is pure BS, but I got no complaints about being able to get the surgery I needed. But outside of that I can’t think of anything he is doing that I approve of, no Single Payer, detention with out charge, escalation of war and putting a GE attorney in charge of enforcement of environmental regulation, oh hell no I don’t dig what Obama is doing.
